The North America Nebula (also known as NGC 7000) is an emission nebula in the Cygnus constellation, close to Deneb with a shape that reminds of North America. Some trailing of the stars is visible in this picture. It is possibly a result of of the lens collar (Nicam 2,8) that was used and the nearly vertical position of the lens/camera setup in which the lens collar was not rigid enough. The photo was taken using the following equipement:
