The core Abbasid territories include Shahrazur, Darabadh, al-Samaghan, Hulwan, Masabadhan, Mihrijanqadhaq, the Euphrates districts, and Qarqisiyya (al-Tabari v. 37, p. 98; Bianquis p. 96).
