English: This is the Skull of the woolly mammoth called Millie. It was discovered in May 1999 in the North Sea at the coast of the Netherlands near Hook of Holland by fishermen.
It was broken into some twenty seven fragments and got restored by approximately 90% of its original fossil material. It was fully dug up on Easter Sunday in the year 2000 and got the name "Millie". It was a very large Bull who roamed some 30.000 to 40.000 years ago. The skull is currently located in the Celtic and Prehistoric Museum, Slea Head Route, Kilvicadownig, Ventry, IrelandDeutsch: Es handelt sich um den Schädel eines Wollhaarmammuts namens Millie. Dieser wurde im Mai 1999 in der Nordsee an der Küste der Niederlande von Fischern entdeckt.
