碳酸盐补偿深度

碳酸盐补偿深度(英语:carbonate compensation depth)是指海洋中碳酸钙输入海底的补给速率与溶解速率相等的深度面,也是海底含碳酸盐的沉积和非碳酸盐沉积之间的岩相界面[1][2]。海水表层碳酸钙是饱和的,随着水深的增大,水压增高,水温降低,海水中的二氧化碳含量增高,碳酸钙溶解度增大,在碳酸盐补偿深度溶解量与补给量相抵平衡[3][4]
