苊鈉是一種有機化合物,可由金屬鈉和苊在四氫呋喃中反應得到。[1]苊鈉是一種還原劑,如可以將六價鉬的氫三(3-異丙基吡唑-1-基)硼酸鹽配合物還原為五價:[2]
- Na(Acn) + LMoVIO2(SPh) + PPh4Cl → Acn + PPh4[LMoVO2(SPh)] + NaCl
