伞虎属(学名:Ptychozoon)也称褶虎属,爬行纲有鳞目壁虎科的一属,主要分布于东南亚地区。
形态特征
[编辑]伞虎属壁虎主要栖息于热带雨林树冠层,其四肢、体侧以及尾部都演化出了特化的皮褶,能够利用空气阻力在树干间滑翔一定的距离。[1]
分类地位
[编辑]2020年,有学者基于系统发育基因组学研究结果, 认为伞虎属嵌入到壁虎属(Gekko)内部, 将伞虎属视为壁虎属的次定同物异名, 作为壁虎属的一个亚属。[2]
