杂色山雀（学名：Sittiparus varius），为山雀科赤腹山雀属的鸟类。分布于朝鲜、日本、中国大陆的辽宁和俄罗斯东南部的千岛群岛等地，主要生活于森林中。该物种的模式产地在日本本州。
分类
[编辑]杂色山雀由荷兰动物学家康拉德·雅各·特明克与德国鸟类学家赫尔曼·施莱格尔于1845年描述，并命名为Parus varius。[2][3][a] 直到20世纪末，杂色山雀通常与大多数其他山雀科成员一起被归入山雀属（Parus）。2005年，研究山雀科成员线粒体DNA序列的分子系统发生学研究报告，建议将杂色山雀与其他大约15个物种归入重新恢复的高山山雀属（Poecile）。[6] 2013年的一项研究分析了线粒体和核序列，建议拆分高山山雀属，并将杂色山雀及其姐妹物种白头山雀归入他们自己的属赤腹山雀属。该属最初由比利时政治家兼自然学家爱德蒙·德·塞利斯·龙尚于1884年建立，并将杂色山雀作为模式种。[7][8] 此提案已被世界鸟类学家联合会（IOU）采纳。[9][10]
奥氏山雀（Sittiparus owstoni）、西表山雀（Sittiparus olivaceus）和赤腹山雀（Sittiparus castaneoventris）以前被认为是杂色山雀的亚种，但在2014年系统发生学研究发表后被提升为物种。[10][11]

描述
[编辑]杂色山雀体长约 12–14 cm (4.7–5.5 in)，重量约 16–18 g (0.56–0.63 oz)。翅膀长度约 6.0–7.8 cm (2.4–3.1 in)。指名亚种(v.varius)其头顶、喙、喉咙、前胸上半部、和颈背都是黑色的，后头中央有一细长白斑。额头，脸和脸颊是白色的。背部，翅膀和尾巴呈蓝灰色。后颈、胸、腹及两胁栗红色，胸部和腹部的中央至尾下覆羽淡黄褐色。脚是深灰色的。
其栖息地包括各种开放林地，特别是日本栲树（Castanopsis cuspidata）和日本落叶松（Japanese larch）组成的杂木林、日本红豆杉（Cryptomeria（sugi））与松树组成的针叶林、遍布竹林的山坡地、以及河谷等。
主要以昆虫和昆虫幼虫为食，也吃植物果实和种子。
叫声由短促的音调组成，听起来像 tzu...tzu...tzu ...
文化中的地位
[编辑]在日本，杂色山雀曾用于一种名为“御神签曳”的表演中，来抽取御神签。使用一个小型的神社模型，鸟儿会投下一枚硬币，摇响铃铛，打开门，取出御神签并带回。牠们也可以用喙切开绳子或胶带来打开御神签。[12][13]
