姬蛙属(学名:Microhyla),是一种蛙类族群,俗称米蛙(rice frogs)或狭口蛙(narrow-mouthed frogs),是姬蛙科家族中的一个属,并由一些小型蛙类组成。
这个属的成员广泛分布于琉球群岛。在日本、台湾、中国,及整个东南亚、苏门答腊、爪哇、巴厘岛、婆罗洲、印度和斯里兰卡都有其踪迹。[1]截至2016年3月13日,该属总共有40种,
特征简介
[编辑]据Seshadri等人称(2016),该蛙属可以使用以下标准去判别:成蛙体型小,瞳孔圆形, 背部皮肤光滑,身体外侧从眼睛到背部一带有纹路;现今颞褶存在于成蛙中,副涎腺不存在,手指间没有蹼,指尖可能会扩张也可能不会;舌头呈椭圆形,边缘完整且在基部能自由活动;眼睛的直径比吻部小;一层薄薄的皮肤隐藏著鼓膜;手掌上的骨结节十分明显;明显的椭圆形内跖骨和圆形外跖骨;在脚指间有蹼,这是其基本的辨识特征。
