姬蛙屬(學名:Microhyla),是一種蛙類種群,俗稱米蛙(rice frogs)或狹口蛙(narrow-mouthed frogs),是姬蛙科家族中的一個屬,並由一些小型蛙類組成。
這個屬的成員廣泛分佈於琉球群島。在日本、台灣、中國,及整個東南亞、蘇門答臘、爪哇、峇里島、婆羅洲、印度和斯里蘭卡都有其蹤跡。[1]截至2016年3月13日,該屬總共有40種,
特徵簡介
[編輯]據Seshadri等人稱(2016),該蛙屬可以使用以下標準去判別:成蛙體型小,瞳孔圓形, 背部皮膚光滑,身體外側從眼睛到背部一帶有紋路;現今顳褶存在於成蛙中,副涎腺不存在,手指間沒有蹼,指尖可能會擴張也可能不會;舌頭呈橢圓形,邊緣完整且在基部能自由活動;眼睛的直徑比吻部小;一層薄薄的皮膚隱藏着鼓膜;手掌上的骨結節十分明顯;明顯的橢圓形內蹠骨和圓形外蹠骨;在腳指間有蹼,這是其基本的辨識特徵。
