路薏丝·斐莉 (于 1951 年 4 月 12 日，出生于新泽西州) 是一位意大利裔的美国平面设计师，公认“俱备精湛的手艺，优雅的排版技巧，设计大胆专注，让每个设计师都钦羡不已。”她热衷于手写类型的创作，在 2014 年获得美国平面设计协会的奖项。在早期阶段，她喜欢建立自己的字体，自学书法。多年以来，她设计了两千本书封，“一次次证明设计不需要哗众取宠。”

早年生活

路薏丝·斐莉生于 1951 年。她自称“在知道设计是什么之前就对设计感兴趣了。”她记得在小时候就在墙上刻画字体和设计书封。在 16 岁时，斐莉自学书法。她前往纽约萨拉托加泉的斯基德摩尔大学，学习工作室艺术。^[1]

教育

工作生涯

她于 1976 - 78 年间在赫伯·鲁柏林手下担任资深设计师，发现到字型是一种表现工具，奠定了后期作品的基调。^[1] 在替赫伯·鲁柏林工作之前，她曾替克诺夫进行过一些特别的书籍专案工作。

在 1978-1989 年间，斐莉是万神殿书屋出版社的艺术总监，此时她避免使用标准字体，而偏好替每一件书封建立独特的字形。她替玛格丽特·杜拉斯的畅销书《爱人》所设计的书封大获成功，让她在万神殿书屋得到更多的创作自由。她在这家出版社的工作生涯中总共设计了接近两千本书。^[2]

2009 年她重新设计 Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval（英语：Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval）一百周年纪念专刊。

2004 年，斐莉进入艺术总监俱乐部名人堂。2015 年，她获得样式总监俱乐部颁发的终生成就奖。她也获得三次詹姆士比尔德奖提名，而自 1998 年开始，她就是国际平面设计联盟的成员。

斐莉在视觉艺术学院教了超过 20 年的书，在大学部与研究所课程开课，同时每个夏天都会在罗马的 SVA 大师工作坊开课。
